Compared with traditional box substations, the Huazhi box substation uses only one fuse per phase, simplifying the protection device and enabling automatic tripping of the load switch to cut off the power supply when any fuse melts, allowing the main switch to be re-energized only after replacing the fuse, ensuring the safety of equipment operation. The high-voltage compartment is equipped with a 35kV load switch, with built-in isolation and fuse protection, and a signal transmission node for convenient background monitoring. The low-voltage part consists of intelligent frame circuit breakers and comprehensive measurement and control devices, which can monitor the switch status and the operation of the transformer protection device in real time, and transmit the information via GPS to the main control room for remote monitoring.
